so, no. of moles = weight/molar mass
so, molar mass of NaOH = mass of Na + mass of O + mass of H
molar mass of NaOH = 23+16+1 = 40
no. of moles = 5/40 = 1/8
now, molarity = no. of moles/volume(in litres )
molarity = 1*1000/8*450. (we are multiplying it by 1000 to convert it into litres)
molarity = 1000/3600
molarity = 0.277 mole/litre or M
