Calculate molarity of a solution having 20 g NaCl dissolved in 500 ml solution .(Na=23 , Cl=35.5).

Molarity=no. of moles of solute/volume of solution Molecular mass of Nacl=23+35.5=58.8(60) No.of moles of Nacl=Given mass/molecular mass= 20/60 =0.3g. volume of solution=500ml

0.3g/0.5l=0.6M
