molar mass of oxygen is 16 grams, it means that 1 mole oxygen weighs 16 grams.

therefore 64 gram oxygen = 64/16 = 4 mole oxygen.

1 mole of any element contains 6.022 * 10^23 atoms in it.

therefore no. of moles in 24.088 * 10^23 atoms = 24.088 * 10^23 / 6.022 * 10^23 = 4 moles

hence 4 moles of oxygen.

molar mass of oxygen atoms=16u

given mass=64 grams

no of moles=given mass/molar mass

=64/16

=4

hence the no of moles in 64 grams of oxygen is 4 moles
