Calculate normality and molarity:
100 mL of 0.2 M H2So4 with 50 mL of 0.1 N HCl. Please answer step by step...I cant find it answer. No spam otherwise you'll be reported.​

Given:-

  • 100ml of 0.2 N H2So4
  • 50ml pf 0.1 N HCl.

To find :-

  • Normality and molarity.

Explanation:-

  • Here first we find molarity.

  • We know that,

  • M=N×V

  • We already know the values lets apply now ,

  • M1= 0.2M × 10ml

  • M1= 20M.

Now lets find total molarity of the solution .

  • Total molarity
  • M=M1+M2
  • M=20+0.12
  • M=20.12M.

Lets find total volume now ,

  • V=V1+V2
  • V=100+500
  • V=600ml..

At the end we find normality.

  • N=M/V
  • N= 20.12/600
  • N= 0.0333N.
