We know that the a electron have charge of 1.6 × 10−19 C

e =1.6 × 10−19 C

Total charge required 1Coulomb.

 q = 1C

Since q=ne

⇒ n =q/e

⇒ n =  1/1.6 × 10−19

⇒6.25×1018

⇒6×1018 electrons.

charge = no. of particle × charge on one particle
no. of particle = charge ÷ no. of particle
= 1 ÷ 1.6 ×10^-19
=6.24 × 10^18
