Answer:

For this equation, 2 mol of calcium hydroxide give 2 moles of hydrogen ion. so, the concentration of hydroxide ions would also be two times to the given concentration calcium hydroxide. so, the pH of M/calcium hydroxide is 12.3.

First, you can’t have a 0.1 m (or 0.1 M) solution of Ca(OH)2 in water, because solubility of Ca(OH)2 in water is below 2 g/L.

A 0.1 M solution of Ca(OH)2 in water would mean a concentration: [0.1 mol * (74.1 g / mol) / 1 L]: 7.4 g/L, far over maximum solubility of Ca(OH)2 in water.

Thus, pH can’t go to a value as high as 13.3 as stated at another answer, but somewhere around 12.6.
