pressure \:  =  \frac{perpendicular \: force}{area}
pressure \:  =  \frac{1000n}{0.2 {m}^{2} }
pressure \:  =  \frac{10000n}{2}
pressure \:  = 5000pa

HEY MATE, YOUR PRESSURE (ANSWER) IS 5000Pa.

Given:

Force exerted = 1000 N

Cross section of piston = 0.2 m^2

Now going by the definition of pressure which says " Force exerted perpendicular to the surface of an object per unit area over which force is distributed.

Hence,

The formula for calculating pressure is:-

F/A =P

Putting the given values in the formula

P= F/A = 1000/0.2 = 10000/2 = 5000 N/m^2

So this way we calculate pressure when force perpendicular to the surface is given along the area of surface.
