Calculate proprietary ratio: if share capital Rs. 5,00,000 ,reserve & surplus Rs. 2,00,000 and general reserve Rs. 1,00,000 and total assets RS 21,00,000​

Given:

share capital RS. 5,00,000

reserve & surplus RS. 2,00,000

general reserve RS. 1,00,000

total assets RS 21,00,000​

Share sholder's Fund = Share Capital + Reserve & Surplus + General Reserve

=5,00,000+200000+100000

=8,00,000

proprietary ratio = Shareholders fund / Total assets

                            = 8,00,000 / 2100000

                            = 0.38:1

Hence proprietary ratio is 0.38:1
