- total momentum before firing = total momentum after firing.
(30+0.25) × u = 30 × (-V ) + 0.25 × 600.
- since initial velocity of gun along with bullet is zero u = 0.
therefore , 0 = -30×V + 0.25 × 600.
V = 5m/sec
