Calculate resistivity of material of a wire having length 1 m, radius 2mm and resistance 5 ohm.​

Given, l = 1m

r = 2mm

= 2/1000 = 0.002m

R = 5 Ohm

ρ = ?

Now, ρ = RA/l

= R×πr²/l

= 5×3.14×(0.002)²/1

= 6.28×10⁻⁷ Ohm metre
