let the third proportional to 15 and 30 be x.
then, 30* 30 = 15 * x [ b square = ac]
=> x = (30 * 30)/ 15
=> 900/15
hence x = 60.

15/30=30/x (if a,b,c are in G.P.,ratios of terms are same,i.e.,b/a=c/b,b^2=ac)
x=30*30/15
x=60
therefore,third proportional is 60
