Given :

Sum invested = Rs. 17000

Rate of growth = 10%, 10%, and 14%.

Time = 3 years

To find : Amount = ? and compound interest = ?

Solution :

Amount in three years would be :

A=17000(1+\dfrac{10}{100})(1+\dfrac{10}{100})(1+\dfrac{14}{100})\\\\A=17000\times \dfrac{11}{10}\times \dfrac{11}{10}\times \dfrac{57}{50}\\\\A=23449.80

Compound interest would be:

Amount-Principal\\\\=23449.8-17000\\\\=6449.8

Hence, the amount is Rs. 23449.80 and compound interest = Rs. 6449.80.
