C + O2 ---> CO2
1 mole of C + 1 mole of O2 ---> 1 mole of CO2
therefore, we can infer that
1 mole of Carbon gives 1 mole of Carbon dioxide
12 g of C ---> 44 g of CO2
50 g of C ---> (50 x 44) / 12
550 / 3
183.33 g of CO2
Therefore, when 50 g of C is burnt, then 183.33 g of CO2 is formed..
