Mass% = (Mass of solute/Mass of solution)100

Mass%= (mass of glucose/250)100

Let mass of glucose be x

5= 100x/250

5= 2x/5

2x= 25

x= 25÷2

=12.5grams

Hence mass of glucose required is 12.5 grams
