decinormal solution means N /10 solution.

⏩we know that

no of gram equivalents

=normality of solution× volume of solution in litre

= 0.025

no gram equivalent

= weight of solute/ equivalent weight of solute

= [weight of solute × acidity of base ] /

molecular weight of the base

let weight of solute be k

then ,

no of gram equivalent

=weight of solute/equivalent weight of solute

put the values

0.025 = (k × 2) /40

[ acidity of NaoH = 2 and molecular weight = 40]

then ,

k = 0.5 g
