Answer:

Given: Mass of Water= 1kg. Height from which water Fallen= 1000cm.

To Find: Work done by water while falling.

Solution: We know that, ⟼ 1000cm= 10m. ⟼ Force= Mass×Acceleration. ⟼ Work= Force×Displacement. Here, Displacement(d) is 10m. Acceleration due to gravity is 9.8m/s² So, ↬ F= ma. ↬ F= 1×9.8= 9.8N. ↬ Work done= F×d.

Work done = potential energy

As potential energy = mgh,

Work done = mgh. (m=mass. g=gravity. h=height)

= 1×10×10

= 100J
