AD²= AB²+ BD²

26²=24²+ BD²

676=576+BD²

676-576=BD²

100=BD²

10=BD

Area of right angle triangle = ½× b× h= ½×10×24= 120 cm²

BDC is an equivalent triangle

area of equilateral triangle = root8/4×side²=

root 8/4×24×24= 144 root3

area of ABCD= area of ABD+ area of BCD = 144root3+ 120

= 249.408+120=369.41 cm²
