Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

Given :-

Side 1, a  = 18 cm

Side 2, b  =  24 cm

Side 3, c = 30 cm

To Find :-

Area of Triangle

Formula to be used :-

Area of  triangle = √(s(s-a)(s-b)(s-c))

Solution :-

Putting all the values, we get

s = a + b + c/2

⇒ s = 18 + 24 + 30/2

⇒ s = 72/2

s = 36

Putting semi-perimeter value in area formula, we get

⇒ Area of  triangle = √(s (s - a)(s - b)(s - c))

⇒ Area of  triangle = √(36 × (36 - 18) × (36 - 24) × (36 - 30))

⇒ Area of  triangle = √(36 × 18 × 12 × 6)

⇒ Area of  triangle = √46656 cm²

⇒ Area of  triangle = 216 cm²

Hence, the  area of triangle is  216 cm².
