Atomic mass = Mass of proton + Mass of electron

We have to find the atomic mass of Hydrogen (H).

• Mass of proton = 1.007 u

= 1 u (approx.)

• Mass of electron = 0.000550 u

= 0 u (approx.)

Atomic Mass of Hydrogen = 1 + 0

=> 1 u
