Answer:

Given that,

  m1=100g

 m2=150g

 m3=200g

a = 0.5 m = 50 cm

Now, according to diagram

Center of mass coordinates

  Xcm=4500×100+150×50+200×25

 Xcm=4507500+5000

 Xcm=27.8cm

 Xcm=0.28m

Now,

  Ycm=4500×100+0×150+3×25×200

 Ycm=4508660.3

 Ycm=19.2cm

 Ycm=0.2m

Hence, the center of mass of three particles at the vertices of an equilateral triangle is Xcm=0.28cm and Ycm=0.2cm  respectively
