Hello Mate!

Since we know that momentum = mass × velocity.

p = mv

Initial momentum = 10 kg × 20 m/s

= 200 kg m/s

Final momentum = 10 kg × 0.2 m/s

= 2 kg m/s

Change in p = Final p - Initial p

= ( 200 - 2 ) kg m/s

= 198 kg m/s

Change in momentum is 198 kg m/s

Have great future ahead!

Here is your answer

Given :-

Momentum of a body weighing 10 kg.

velocity decreases from 20 m/s to 0.2 m/s

Calculate the change in momentum:-

we know that

Momentum(p) = mass (m)× velocity(v)

Initial momentum =10 kg × 20 m/s= 200 kg m/s

Final momentum = 10 kg × 0.2 m/s = 2 kg m/s

Now

Change in momentum  = Final momentum  - Initial momentum

= 200kg m/s - 2 kg m/s

= 198 kg m/s

Change in momentum is 198 kg m/s

Hope it helps you
