Hey Dear,

◆ Answer -

α = 1.111×10^-3 /K

● Explaination -

# Given -

V0 = 0.25 m³

V = 0.30 m³

∆T = 50 K

# Solution -

Change in volume is -

∆V = V - V0

∆V = 0.30 - 0.25

∆V = 0.05 m³

Coefficient of cubical expansion is calculated as -

∆V/V0 = 3α∆T

0.05 / 0.30 = 3 × α × 50

α = 1 / (6×3×50)

α = 1.111×10^-3 /K

Therefore, coefficient of volume expansion will be 1.111×10^-3 /K.

Thanks dear...

Given data

Initial volume =0.3 m.sq

Final volume. =0.25m.sq + 0.3m.sq

=0.55m.sq

∆V. =0.25m.sq

Change in temperature= 50K

Coefficient of cubical. =?

Solution

∆V/Vo. = Alphav∆T

0.25/0.3 = alpha(50)

0.833. = alpha(50)

alpha v. = 0.833/50

alpha v. .=0.0167/K
