Given :

Charge flow = 240C

Time interval = 2min

To Find :

Current supplied by cell.

Solution :

★ Electric current is defined as the rate of charge flow per unit time in the conductor.

Mathematically, [I = Q / t]

  • I denotes current
  • Q denotes charge
  • t denotes time

It is a scalar quantity having only magnitude.

SI unit : A (ampere)

★ Conversion :

We know that 1min = 60s

∴ 2 min = 2 × 60 = 120s

By substituting the given values;

➠ I = Q / t

➠ I = 240/120

I = 2A

Given:-

⌬ Time = 2 minutes

⌬ charge flow = 240 column

To find:-

⌬ Current supplied by a cell.

Solution:-

Formula- \sf\pink{⟶} I = \sf{\dfrac{Q}{t}}

⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀\sf\purple{⟶}  Current = \sf{\dfrac{Charge}{time taken}}
