 \mathtt{ \huge{ \fbox{Solution :)}}}

Given ,

  • The two resistor i.e 2 ohm and 3 ohm are connected in parrallel combination

We know that , the equivalent resistance in parrallel combination is given by

 \large \mathtt{ \fbox{ \frac{1}{R} =  \frac{1}{ R_{1}}  +    \frac{1}{ R_{2}} + ... +    \frac{1}{ R_{n}}}}

Thus ,

 \sf \hookrightarrow  \frac{1}{ R} =  \frac{1}{2} +  \frac{1}{3}   \\  \\  \sf \hookrightarrow \frac{1}{ R}  =  \frac{3 + 2}{6}  \\  \\ \sf \hookrightarrow  R =  \frac{6}{5}  \\  \\ \sf \hookrightarrow  R = 1.2 \:  \: ohm

Hence , the equivalent resistance is 1.2 ohm
