Given:

time=5min=5x60 h

current=i=2A

Voltage=v=500volts.

E;ectrical energy = E= ?

Formula to be used :

E=P*t
=V*I*t  [∵ p=v*i]
=500*2*5*60
=300000 Wh
=300000/1000
=300kWh

∴ Electrical energy produced is 300 kWh

The electrical energy produced in the 5 minutes is 300Kwh.

To find:

The electrical energy produced in 5 minutes

Given:

Time = 5 minute

Time = 5 * 60 = 300 seconds

(SI unit of time is seconds convert minutes into seconds )

Current = 2A

Potential difference = 500 volts

Solution:

Time = 300 sec , Current ( I ) = 2A

Potential difference = 500 volts

Electrical energy = P×T

As we know that ,

Power = V * I

Therefore ,

Eletrical Energy = V * I * T

Put the required values in the formula ,

Electical Energy = 500 * 300 * 2

Electrical Energy = 3,00,000 Wh

[ Convert Wh into kWh ]

Therefore ,

Electrical Energy = 300 kWh

Therefore, electrical energy produced in the 5 minutes is 300Kwh.
