Calculate the electricity bill amount for a month of 30 days,if the following devices are used as specified:
a. 2 bulbs of 40W for 6 hours.
b. 2 tubelights of 50W for 8 hours.
c. A tv of 120W for 6 hours.
Given the cost of electricity is Rs 2.50per unit.

Answer 1

a.2×40×6=480

b.2×50×8=800

c.120×6=720

sum of all electronic unit =480+800+720=1900

then:-1900×2.50=4750 rupees.
