Explanation:

2 ohm and 2ohm are in parallel thus, 1/ Rp= 1/2 +1/2

which is equal to 1 ohm.

Rs= R1+R2+ R3

which is :

2 ohm+ 1ohm + 1 ohm = 4 ohm.
