Answer:

Solution:

Given,

             pressure(P) = 40 pascal

             Area (A) = 3m

              Force applied(F) = ?

              We know that,

               pressure(p) = force(F)/area(A)

         or, 40=F/3

         or, F=40/3

therefore force =13.33N

Answer:

Force=120 N

Explanation:

Pressure=40 Pa

Area=3 m2

Pressure=Force/Area

Force=Pressure×Area

=40×3 N

=120 N

Therefore,the force is 120 N.
