Calculate the formula weight of the following compounds from their formulas:
Calcium hydroxide.
Ca(OH)2, Methylamine CH3NH2​

Answer:

Calcium Hydroxide= 74g and Methylamine= 31g

Explanation:

Calcium Hydroxide [Ca(OH)2] = mass of Ca + 2*mass of O + 2*mass of H

                                                  = 40+ 2*16 + 2*1

                                                  = 40+32+2

                                                  = 74g

Methylamine [CH3NH2] = mass of C+ mass of N + 5*mass of H

                                        = 12+14+5*1

                                        = 31g
