\huge\bf\underline{Answer}

\large{\underline{\boxed{\sf Interest \: - Rs.120 \: ; Amount - Rs.620}}}

\huge\bf\underline{Explanation :-}

Given :

Principal - Rs.500

Time - 3 years

Rate - 8% per annum

To find :

The interest and the amount of money

Solution :

We know that,

\sf\rightarrow Interest =  \dfrac{P \times R \times T}{100}

Putting the values,

\sf\rightarrow \dfrac{500 \times 8 \times 3}{100}

\sf\rightarrow Rs.120

Hence, The interest is Rs.120

Now, Amount = (Interest + Principal)

= Rs.(120 + 500)

= Rs.620

And the amount is Rs.620

Answer:

Formula:

P × R × T

100.

Now , putting values :

500 × 8 × 3

100

= Rs .120.

Therefore, the Interest = Rs 120.

Amount = ( Interest + Principal ).

Amount = 120 + 500

Amount = Rs .620.

Amount = Rs 620.
