Calculate the kinetic energy in the following cases:
a. A motorcycle weighing 200 kg and moving with a velocity
of 30 m/s
b. A car weighing 500 kg moving with a velocity of 20 m/s

a). Here, m = 200 kg and v = 30 m/s

K.E. = ½ (200) × (30)² = 90000 Joule

b). Here, m = 500 kg and v = 20 m/s

K.E. = ½ (500) × (20)² = 100000 Joule

c). Here, m = 450 kg and v = 15 m/s

K.E. = ½ (450) × (15)² = 50625 Joule
