Answer:

Note :- Rectangular box is a type of cuboid.

Volume of cuboid :-

=> 50 cm × 30 cm × 20 cm

=> 30000 cm³

Volume of cube = Side³

=> 4³

=> 4 × 4 × 4

=> 64 cm³

The largest number of small cubes

which can be placed inside the

rectangular box ( cuboid ) is :-

=> Volume of cuboid ÷ Volume of cube

=> 30000 ÷ 64

=> 468.75 or ( 468 ¾ or 468 ⁴⁸⁄₆₄ )

Hence, the largest number of small cubes which can be placed inside the rectangular box = 468
