SOLUTION.

As you notice moles of CARBON is same to that of Oxygen.

MOLE × MOLAR MASS = GIVEN MASS

Molar mass of Graphite = 12g/mol

Given mass = 2.4kg

Mole of carbon = 2.4/12

Mole of carbon = 0.2mol

Mole of oxygen = Mole of carbon

Mole of oxygen = Given mass / molar mass

0.2 = Given mass / 16

MASS REQUIRED = 3.2Kgs

At STP molar volume = 22.7L / mol

Mole = Given volume / Molar volume

3.2 = Given volume / 22.7

3.2 × 22.7 = Given volume

VOLUME REQUIRED = 72.64L
