so, by substituting given values, we get

    given mass = number of moles × molecular mass

                         = 0.167 × 23.95

                         = 3.99g

Therefore, mass of LiOH = 3.99g

Alternate method to calculate mass of LiOH is-

1 mole of LiOH has molecular mass = 63.95 gmol⁻¹

0.167 moles of LiOH has mass = 63.95 × 0.167

                                                   = 3.99g

So, mass of LiOH is 3.99g.
