no. of moles=( given wt.)/ (molecular wt)
let mass be x
molecular wt of water =18
0.5=x/18
so x=18×0.5=9 gm

pls mark it as brainliest.

mehraj99: you are intelligent man. write answer
divakar4: Mass of 1 mole of H2O molecule = (1 x 2 + 16) = 18 u

Mass of 0.5 mole of H2O molecule = (18 x 0.5) u =9 u.
