cotton-
1) cotton is a shurb that grows normally in warm climates and requires moderate rain fall.
2) it is a soft fluffy fibre which grows in the form of a boll , called cotton boll.

jute-
1) jute is one of the cheapest textile fibres and is obtained from the bark of the jute plants.
2) jute is brown in colour and is week and brittle .Chemically, it is 61 percent cellulose
