Calculate the mass of carbon dioxide which contains the same number of molecules as are contained in 40grams of oxygen

40g of oxygen=40/32 moles of oxygen gas(no.of moles=given mass/molecular mass)

acc. to question;

no of moles of oxygen=no of moles of co2

therfore mass of co2=molecular mass of co2*40/32=44*40/32=55g
