16 g of sulphur makes upto 0.5 moles of sulphur bcoz you divide 16 by its mol wt which is 32g..
thus equal moles contain equal molecules according to avogadro's hypothesis.
so number of moles of mg=0.5
thus to get its weight, multiply 0.5 by mol wt of mg.
=0.5*24 = 12g.
cheers. love love

Number of atoms/ 6.022*10^23=
Mass in gram/ gram atomic Mass
X/6.022×10^23=16/32
X= 3.011×10^23
Number of atoms/ 6.022*10^23=
Mass in gram/ gram atomic Mass
3.011×10^23/6.022*10^23=Y/24
Y=12
