Chloroplasts are the food producers of the cell. The organelles are only found in plant cells and some protists such as algae. Animal cells do not have chloroplasts. The entire process is called photosynthesis and it all depends on the little green chlorophyll molecules in each chloroplast.

chloroplasts are found in plant cell because they helps plants to survive.they contains chlorophyll which helps plants to make their own food. They give plants green colour and helps in produce their own food. For this reason they are also called producer. So chloroplasts are very essential for green plants and is the main reason for green plants.
