balancing the equation we get

N2+H2=2NH3

so 28g of N2 reacts with 2g of H2

therefore 1g of N2 will react with  2/28g of H2=1/14

so if  20g N2 will react with 1*20/14g of H2 which is = 1.42g

but in question it is given 20g N2 reacts with 30g H2 so H2

is given in excess

so N2 will act as the limiting reagent

and the product formed depends on the limiting reagent

so

28gN2 will give 34g of NH3

so 1g will give 34/28g of NH3

so 20g will give 34*20/28 which is equal to 24.28g

so the answer is 24.28g
