Mass by mass % = (Mass of solute / Mass of solution) × 100
25 = [M / (M + 100)] × 100
1/4 = [M / (M + 100)]
M + 100 = 4M
3M = 100
M = 33.33 g

Mass of potassium nitrate required is 33.33 g
