calculate the mass percentage of sodium, carbon and oxygen in sodium bicarbonate NaHCO3​

Mass of elements:-

Na=23

H=1

C=12

O=16

Molecular mass=23+1+12+3(16)

= 23+1+12+48

= 24+12+48

= 84

Percentage composition=

 =  \frac{Mass  \:  \: of \:  \:  sodium}{Mass   \:  \: of  \:  \: NaHCO3} \times 100

  = \frac{23}{84}  \times 100

 =  \frac{  23 \times 25}{21}

=27.380%

=27.38% (approx)
