Calculate the maximum kinetic energy of electrons emitted from a photosensitive surface of work function 3.2 e.v for the incident radiation of wavelenght 300nm

incident energy = hc/lambda

E = hc/300 nm

E = 4.14 eV

We have,

E = E0 + KE

4.14 = 3.2 + KE

KE = 0.94 eV
