⚫Add all given data.

=48

➡No.ofobservations = 8

=》48/8

To find the mean of a number first we have to add all the numbers , so hers the first step of
your answer :-

7.6+4.8+8.5+6.4+5.6+3.5+7.2+4.4
= 48 .

now we are finished up with our first step , so lets go to second and last step .

in this step we have to divide the sum of the number we have calculated with the total number of the numbers of which we have to calculate the mean , so lets go our second step :-

there are total 8 numbers in our question

so 8÷48= 6 .

so your as it was last step and your reminder is 6 .

so your answer is 6
