Calculate the molality of 1m solution of sodium nitrate . The density of solution is 1.25g /cm^3

Total mass of solution is 1000cm^3 times the 1.25g/cm^3=1250 gm.

Water =1250-85=1165 gm.

Therefore molality , m=1/1.165 kg= 0.86m
