Molarity = No of moles / volume in litres  = n/V

No of moles = Given mass / molar mass

n = 5 /23 + 16 + 1

n = 5/40

n = 1/8 moles

Volume = 450 ml = 450/1000 litres

Molarity  =  1/8   / 450 / 1000

= 1 x 1000/8 x 450

= 100 / 45 x 8

= 20/9 x 8

= 10/9 x 4

= 5 / 9 x 2

= 5/18

= 0.27 M

Answer:

Explanation:

0.277

Sol:NAOH=40 g per mile

No.of moles in 5 g main=5/40=0.125

Volume of a solution=450ml=0.45L

=0.125/0.45

=0.27
