Calculate the molarity of pure water. (Density of water = 1 g/mol).

molarity =  \frac{moles}{volume  \: of \: solution}
so lets consider 1000ml of water i.e 1 litre
no of moles of water in 1litre given by
 \frac{mass \: of \: water}{18}
mass of water = 1000g
therefore molarity = 1000/18 = 55.55
