Calculate the mole fraction of solute and solvent in 20% of NaOH (aq.) solution . Given that density of solution is 1.25 g/ ml.

for 100g of solution, we have 20g NaOH and 80g water. So, we have 0.5 moles of NaOH and 80 mL of water, i.e. 0.080 L of water.

So, the molarity is Moles of NaOHlitres of water=0.50.08=6.25 M
