no.of moles=weight/Gran molecular weight
9/30=3/10=0.3 moles

gellisurabhi: sorry for wrong ans at first
gellisurabhi: now the ans is0.3 moles only
gellisurabhi: see as i had posted the right ans by editing

Hey mate!
Here's ur answer :
Ethane is a 2-carbon alkane with 6 hydrogens. Molar mass of ethane is 2(molar mass of carbon) + 6(molar mass of hydrogen). Mm = 2(12) +6(1) = 30 g/gmol. Moles of ethane in 9 g is equal to 9g/(30 g/gmol)=.3 gmol C2H6.
Mark this brainliest. I hope this may help u
