Calculate the normality and molarity of solution containing 25g H2SO4 in 5 litres(eq.wt. of H2SO4=49, Mol. wt. of H2SO4=98)​

equivalent mass of H2SO4 = 98 / 2 = 49 g

Volume of solution in litre = 500 / 1000 = 0.5

number of g equivalent of H2SO4 = 49 /49 = 1

Normality = number of g equivalent/ volume of solution in litre

= 1 / 0.5 = 2 N
